Kiya smiled goofily at Fayt.

"Sorry! Flat out broke!"

She turned her attention back to Paine who stood impatiently. In her mind, Kiya went through her memories. This girl didn't look familiar...her voice didn't sound familiar and heck! She didn't even know her name! Kiya turned around to Takashi, letting her cutlass's point hit the ground.

"Do you know who she is Takashi?"

Takashi looked up and stared over at Paine.

"Err--I'm sorry but...I don't remember or recall... I've seen a lot of people in my time as a sailor but--" Takashi paused to scratch the back of his head nervously. "I don't recall you miss."

Kiya nodded at Takashi, turned back to Paine, and shrugged.

"Nope sorry! Doesn't ring any bells!" Kiya grinned. "So who are you then?"

Her chest heaved in a deep sigh, as she crouched and reached into her bag. After a few moments of fumbling through clothes and heavier objects, she returned to her standing position. In her hands she held a medium sized patch, embroidered delicately. She held it up, letting the light catch on the array of colors, "This. Do you recognize it? The seal of the rebels. Our groups symbol, the original."

She turned it over, showing the entire thing to Kiya and Takashi, "You both have one, right?" Every rebel was supposed to have one, each hand-made and precious. As long as they could flash it, no other cities rebel would cause them harm.

"You, theif. Are you just a theif, or something more? I do not see you as a rebel...or are you free-lance?" Her attention had flipped again, this was becoming a bother now...

Our final destination is the same, our futures all eventually combine, our paths all cross one another, and our hearts are all intertwined. If we know that this is true, then why is it that we cannot bring ourselves to accept those that want to try their own way, find their own path to the end, and not be one of the followers?

Fayt pulled her patch out "Of course I'm a rebel, jeeze," She put it away and gave a long anoyed sigh. "Well if none of you have no cash, I have no need to waste my time on you guys," She started walking away wondering if this first girl she tried to steal from would notice one of her missing bags. Maybe she could sell something in her bag for some cash....Fayt took off running before they could even notice.

Kiya's eyes widened upon seeing the patch. Of course! She fumbled with her sleeve and pulled it up over her wrist. There tied to her wrist was the same patch.

"So you are an ally?" Kiya said excitedly, sheathing her cutlass back up. "That's great!"

Kiya started to near Paine but the girl still frowned at her. Wha? Oh right...

"Takashi!"

"What?"

"Show her your badge."

"Ah right..." Takashi mumbled fiddling with his sleeve also before pulling it up to reveal the rebel patch tied on his wrist. "I'm not exactly in kahoots with the rebels but--Kiya told me enough that I joined too."

Kiya walked towards Paine again, extending her hand to the girl.

"I'm sorry but through all this fightin' an such we weren't formally introduced." Kiya said happily. "I'm Kiya Anarion from the seaport of Poshe. I work for the rebels there. And this is Takashi Mensuta from the same local." Kiya chirped, gesturing back to Takashi. "And you are?"

Paine took her hand, the handshake firm and more like a mans. "My name is Paine. I suppose you wouldn't know this but..." She returned the patch to her bag, not caring about the one the theif had run off with.

"Do you remember when this orginization was founded?" She made it a hard question. The origins were unknown to most of the outer cities, and even more elusive was the one who started the whole thing. For a 5 year old group, the rebels did alot of damage.

She smiled alittle then, remembering the theif. She had stolen her towel bag...which was on it's way to the trash anyway. Oh well, she'd find out soon enough.

Kiya smiled happily as she shook Paine's hand. "Nice to meet cha!" Kiya's face then took a more quizzical expression. "How old the group is? Hmmm...toughie..."

"Well since I've known you Kiya you've been in the group for about 2 years now." Takashi said, pondering the question himself.

"Yeah..." Kiya shrugged. "I only joined two years ago--when things started looking pretty hairy. And Takashi joined last year. I'd say it's older though. Anyway, since you are of the rebellion, what outpost are you? Since I'm from Poshe therefore I'm from the Poshan rebels."

Fayt was smirking as she hurried to a local shop to see how much this materals in this bag were worth. She emptied the bag on the counter to find a few hand made sets of clothing. Fayt looked at the clothes and frowned "This isn't worth anything is it?"

The shop keeper looked over the clothing "The most I can five you is one silver for this...and that's being extremly generose,"

"But...But...," Fayt winned. Eventually giving in and taking the one silver coin. She headed back outside wondering if the girl had even cared. Why would she anyways? Her stuff was worthless to begin with.

Paine crossed her arms, leaning back against the nearby wall, "The group is only 4 years old. It was founded 4 years ago by an unknown person, supposidly a female. She dissapeared two years ago, when things started to go bad. The ones closest to her were killed, and everyone else doesn't have a clue who started it."

An uneasy laugh was what she did next, as she looked at her arms, "But I know who she is. Can't say who, since I managed to escape. It's hard to know what I'm going to do without getting help from the founding memebers...they were the real minds behind our forces."

"But besides that, I'm from Wamni, but usually I stay near Ashome, keep an eye on those assasins that are always out to get the military, it's nice to have some allies."
